Decorating Snow
Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. Ivory Soap Flakes (must be flakes)
Water
Food coloring(Optional)depends on what you are making
Preparation:
Put soap flakes in large bowl of electric mixer and add just a little water. Now mix and whip mixture to a stiff meringue-like consistency. Add more soap flakes or water as needed. This is great for snow drifts. A stiffer consistency is better for solid art such as snowmen or snowballs.
This imitation snow can be used to decorate just about anything; windows, mirrors, wreaths, tree branches, etc.
Note: Outline a Santa face in snow on the entrance mirror- so you can see your face framed by Santa's snowy beard, mustache and tasseled cap. Great conversation pieces for guests.
