Cheesy Onion Dip

Cheesy Onion Dip

This warm onion dip is so easy to make—just chop, mix and bake. Try serving it in a bread bowl—cut off the top of a loaf of pumpernickel or sourdough bread and scoop out the middle to make a bowl.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups chopped Vidalia onion
1/2 cup chopped green onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded provolone cheese
1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
Serve with chunks of bread

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

In a medium bowl, thoroughly mix together the onion, garlic, mayonnaise and cheese. Transfer to a small casserole dish.

Bake for 30 minutes in the oven, until the onions are tender and top is golden.

Serve in the casserole dish or a bread bowl with chunks of bread.
