Microwave Caramel Corn

1 cup brown sugar 20 c. popcorn
1 stick butter 1/4 c. karo syrup
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix sugar, butter, salt and syrup in bowl. Bring to a boil in microwave and boil for 2 minutes. Remove and add 1/2 tsp soda. Stir:, then pour over popcorn and mix. Put in brown paper grocery bag. put in microwave for 1 minute. take out and shake. Put back in microwave 1 minute, take out shake, microwave 1 more minute. Shake and pour out into a pan to cool.

This recipe is great , I make it every Christmas. Makes a nice gift along with a cookie tray
