Cranapple Chutney

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon butter
5 cups peeled and cubed (1/4" in size) Granny Smith apples
1/4 cup dried cranberries
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon allspice

Preparation:

Chutney:

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high. Stir in apple and sauté until lightly browned, about 4 minutes. Stir in cranberries, brown sugar, vinegar, ginger, dry mustard, salt and allspice. Bring mixture to a boil - reduce heat and until apples are tender, about 5 to 8 minutes.
