Apple Blackberry Crumble
Ingredients:
5-6 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, sliced
4 cups fresh or frozen blackberries
2/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Topping:
2 cups flour
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup oatmeal (not quick oats)
1 cup melted margarine
Preparation:
In 9" x 13" baking dish layer: apples, blackberries, and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Combine topping ingredients: flour, brown sugar, oatmeal, and margarine and spread with fingers over apples & berries. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour or until golden brown on top. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Serves 6.
