Sweet Burn Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients:
2 cups ketchup
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup prepared yellow mustard
1 tablespoon hot sauce
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Preparation:
Combine all of the ingredients in a saucepan and slowly bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and gently simmer until dark and thick, 10 to 15 minutes. Transfer the sauce to a clean bottle or jar and store in the refrigerator, where it will keep for several months.
